Microsoft is definitely tying to get the jump on Sony now by announcing the release date of its upcoming console the Xbox Series S. The Xbox Series S will be releasing November 10, 2020 . I also guesstimating that the Series X will be releasing around the same time.

• Smallest Xbox Ever | The Xbox Series S will be nearly 60% smaller than its bigger brother the Xbox Series X.
• Custom NVME SSD | The Xbox Series S will sport a custom 512GB SSD. There is no word whether it will ship in a terabyte SKU. 
• All Digital Gaming Experience | There will be no optical drive on the Xbox Series S which is no surprise. 
• 1440p Gaming with a variable refresh rate up to 120fps
• Direct X Ray-Tracing 
• Ultra Low Latency 
• 4K media streaming
