Story: 5
The film opens up with Thor captured by Surtur. Surtur tells Thor that Odin is no longer on Asgard and he plans on going there to basically destroy it. Thor Escapes his imprisonment, hands Surtur his ass, and returns home to find Loki masquerading around as Odin watching stage plays. Thor gets the info that Odin is on earth so he goes there to find him w/ Loki. After conversing with Odin They receive the info that their older sister Hela is returning to wreak havoc on Asgard. To keep this short and not give out many more spoiler I’ll just say that Loki and Thor have a short fight with Hela on earth and they are no match for her. They attempt to escape back to Asgard but Hela pursues them. Loki and Thor ends up in a strange world while Hela makes it to Asgard.

Sound: 4
You get your typical action Pop / Rock soundtrack here. The music does a great job keeping you engaged in the film.

Performances: 5
The cast doesn’t disappoint here. Marvel has definitely found the sweet spot when it come selecting actors who will perfectly fit their comic counterparts. I couldn’t imagine anyone else playing Thor besides Chris Hemsworth, just like I can’t see there is no other wolverine besides Hugh Jackman.

Replay: 4.5

This is easily one of my favorite Marvel films. I went to see it yesterday at opening night and I will be going with some friends and family in the near future to see it again. The comedy in this film is what makes the replay value so high.

Around The Web: 4.6
As of November 4th 2017 Thor: Ragnarok is hold a 91% average on Rotten Tomatoes.

Thoughts
To be completely honest I have never been a huge Thor Fan. I have always enjoyed his representation in the Avengers films but his stand alone films never really did it for me. In retrospect Thor: Ragnarok is just as if not more entertaining as the Avengers films. Comedy and Thor’s interactions with this Hulk really drove this movie.

Recommendation
Go see this film… Easily one of the best marvel movies in recent history.
