Helpouts, which launched back in 2013 is a platform that allowed users to connect to experts in whatever they needed help in. For example if i needed help with Calculus I could hook up with a Math professor who can teach me on a 1 on 1 basis. It was a cool concept but my guess is that the community didn't get the exposure it needed to keep the platform running.
